Blue Eyes

In sleep blue eyes haunt all my dreams,

For every waking dawn it seems,

Your smile I see fade from view

As I wake to start each day anew.

And through the day I see your face

Everywhere and every place,

Reminding me of all I’ve lost

And all my foolish pride has cost.

How do I move? How do I live?

For I have all this love to give

No one else can offer me

The joy that you once made me see
